Somewhere along the way, we stopped asking how we feel in our own body and started worrying more about how we look in someone else’s eyes.

Culture pushes narrow beauty standards — slim, smooth, symmetrical — leaving many trapped in cycles of comparison, dieting, surgery, or over-exercising. But body dissatisfaction isn’t vanity; it’s fear. And that fear can erode self-esteem, trigger anxiety, and fuel dangerous patterns.

The truth? Changing the outside rarely fixes the inside. Real confidence begins when you stop shrinking yourself to fit shifting standards and start honoring the body that carries you every day.

Beauty isn’t found in perfection. It’s found in presence — in kindness, resilience, and how you choose to show up in your own skin.
